Stockholm's narrowest street (Mårten Trotzigs gränd)
Mårten Trotzigs Gränd is one of Stockholm’s most distinctive Old Town stops: a narrow, atmospheric alley whose tightest point measures just 90 centimetres across. Its steep cobbled steps and medieval character make the short passage feel more like a small historic discovery than an ordinary street.
The surrounding lanes add to the appeal, with varied shops and souvenir boutiques nearby. It works especially well as a brief sightseeing detour while exploring Gamla stan.
