Stockholm Private Boat Tours offers a clear, flexible route into private sightseeing by water. Guests can choose a boat, select a date and time, and build an outing around Stockholm’s waterways, with options including yacht trips, archipelago tours and a sauna splash with RIB boat.

The private format suits families, couples and groups wanting a more personal view of the city and its surroundings. Three-hour trips provide a balanced introduction, while half-day yacht outings allow more time for the archipelago and a slower pace. The booking process is structured around online appointments, with an appointment required.

Stockholm Boat Tour creates tailored days on the water, from city sightseeing to longer archipelago trips reaching places such as Vaxholm, Grinda and Sandhamn. The private format gives groups room to shape the pace, route and focus of the outing.

Guides and captains add useful local history while keeping safety and comfort central, and longer trips are particularly rewarding for visitors who want a fuller view of the islands. The service suits birthdays, family days and small-group celebrations as well as general sightseeing. An appointment is required, so the trip should be arranged in advance.

Strand Rederi AB focuses on boat hire and private outings around Stockholm and the archipelago. Its vessels feature sunny decks, onboard food and drinks, and air conditioning, creating a flexible setting for enjoying the water with a group.

The offer is better suited to arranging a private boat experience than to a conventional sightseeing cruise. Clarify what is included in the chosen booking, as entry and onboard extras may be handled separately.

The guided experience combines Stockholm views with approachable history and humour. Seating can be shared on busy sailings, so this is best suited to travellers who value the atmosphere and scenery of a traditional archipelago cruise over a highly private arrangement.

Stromma’s Lilla Skärgårdsturen offers a guided introduction to Stockholm’s archipelago aboard a classic boat. Different trip lengths make it easy to choose between a shorter scenic outing and a fuller day on the water, with the route designed to showcase the islands and coastal landscapes.

A guide adds context and personality, while café or restaurant service onboard makes the cruise comfortable for a longer excursion. The upper deck is the most appealing place for open views, although seating there can be limited on busy trips.
